    It is interesting in the abundance hybridization between Alabama and Smallmouth Bass in some waters.
    And that the Spotted Bass just seem to out compete the Largemouth in some bodies of water, with little to no hybridization.

    Thanks Gambusia. The Florida bass has shown to be an entirely different species from the largemouth..

    They coexist very well just about everywhere they are

    Alabama bass and Kentucky bass are different species.

    My apologies, you're correct.

    Only a ~decade ago Alabama were considered a subspecies of Spotted Bass.
    I need to pay closer attention.
