    Default Trout

The trout fishing remains good to excellent with a lot of really nice fish being caught. Iíve not had a lot of time to fish, but my last couple of trips have been great. For me, the 17mr bite has slowed down as it seems the fish have spread out a little more, but the jerkbait and swimbait bite has really turned on. Iíve caught the majority of my fish the last few trips on Lucky Craft Pointer 78ís, Rapala X-Rap 8ís, Shadow Rap Shads, and a little 2.75 inch white paddle tail on a 1/8 oz ball jig.

Quality trout there Trigger. Jerkbaits are my "go to" for most of the year, and the LC Pointer is one of the best.

I donít fish them much when itís cold as I feel that I get better results fishing slower with a 17mr but when the temps warm up a tad and the fish start to spread out I can cover a lot more water with a jerkbait and agree the LC Pointer is one of the best and are worth every penny.

I had another great outing Sunday morning, catching double digits on topwater. Fish werenít quite as big, but they were still good ones.

Awesome! Pretty soon the yakkers are gonna be catching them up if the ramps close.
