    Default Variety in the Marsh

Went out Thursday in Marsh off of Core Sound and on falling tide caught one 15" trout, one 17" blue, a 14" flounder, a 16" red and lots of pin fish. A beautiful day in the neighborhood. The following day a lager blue and a dozen 36" dogfish sharks, which I hear are eaten for fish and chips. Next time I plan to try to cook one up. Its exciting to see the fish coming back in. The next few weeks should be perfect for larger bluefish. A fun fighting fish in a kayak.
