    Default Blount's Creek Saturday

Me and my buddy fished Blount's Creek this past Saturday. We started out early working a variety of soft plastics around the mouth of the creek and then working our way in a bit. It was cooler and windier than the weather man had predicted so we were in a mood to begin with. Finally started getting bit around 10 am after working back to the mouth. Caught one nice trout and flounder and lost two trout at the boat (I'm blaming the new jighead I used). Fish were caught on Captain Lane's Mad Mullet swim bait in marsh cricket color.

Overall not a bad day except for the chill / breeze early on.
Bitburger, cookie, and mindcrime like this.

Sounds like you had a decent day and not getting skunked. Were there many boats fishing in Blounts? Just curious do you recall the water temperature?

No, there weren't many boats, although the number increased as the day went on. The water temperature was between 67 and 68.
