    Default Favorite Fishing Lures

Between all of the crank baits, jigs, spoons, plastic baits, and other lures I have stuffed into several dozen Plano boxes, I probably have hundreds of fishing lures to choose from. But if I had to pick one that has been the most consistent for catching fish for me the last few years, it would be a #6 Panther Martin Deluxe Fly spinner in orange / gold. I have caught everything from bass, bream, crappie, to bowfin, catfish, and perch on those little lures. With small diameter line and a light / UL combo, you can cast them a mile and never know what you might hook on the retrieve.

What is your favorite lure and why?

I dont think I have just one. I am partial to an in line spinner and the good old jig/twister combo. Just like the Panther Martin a jig twister will catch anything around.

Rebel Fastrac minnow, non-jointed, green with a black back. Why? Just because this has worked really well for me in the past. Of course, that was a long time ago. Does it still work? We shall see...

It's TRUE about lures catching fisherman as much or more than they do fish!

5" senko. Prefer black or blue and black. Have caught many on watermelon, purple, red shad laminate. Also have caught bream, channel cats, at least one striper and bowfin on them.
You should have been here yesterday!!
