\r\n Fished Big Lake at Umstead today with a friend. Eventful afternoon getting caught in the rain and hiding out under some trees for 20 minutes, but made the most out of it. It was nice TBH. Had about 6 fish total and a fat girl at the end. Used a soft paddle tail swimbait, bluegill colored, texas rigged. It\'s been nice getting the opportunity to actually take my yak out.. hoping for some great weather this weekend!\r\n

\r\n We got caught in the rain a few years back while kayak fishing. It started as a torrential downpour and we were soaked to the skin before we could even get to a tree to sit under. We just kept fishing at that point. We continued catching fish and my buddy caught the biggest pickerel either of us had ever seen or caught. As long as there isn\'t lightning..all good in the rain!\r\n
