Default Got permission to fish a farm pond

So a couple of weeks ago I got permission to fish a farm pond. I thought it was a good time to try out my new kayaks and wound up landing a 5 lb and a 8lb bass first time out. Also setting the hook into one that broke 50 LB braid.

    Nice fish!

I grew up fishing farm ponds and forgot how good they could be until recently. Had a client invite me to fish his pond late last year. Finally went out in March and on the fourth cast with the new BBZ-1 rat, *BAM*, had a 7 lber crush it a foot off the bank. Last time a had a bass that big, I was 11 years old (a few decades ago, lol...)
