    Default From Greenville, Goose Creek

I'm a fairly new Greenville resident (Jan, 2018) and am always looking for new places to fish from my kayak.

Favorite so far is Goose Creek, launching at Dinah's Landing. Caught a flounder there, have had several good bites that never made it to the boat - including one that took out drag and bent my medium-action rod double.

When I'm not fishing, I just enjoy the paddle and the scenery - the eagles' nests, watching them fish.

PS - here's my boat - yes, that's a trolling motor on the back. Handy when wind/waves/current/tiredness get a bit much.

Goose Creek and the Park are pretty awesome places...

Fished it this year once but this is from last year , the first part is exploring the park- the fishing starts at 6:15. Bass and Bowfin.
