Default Catching Bass In high and Muddy water

one of my favorite ways to catch bass is in high muddy water with Lipless cranks or spinnerbaits. I can't count the times I have been leaving a spot in the early am after wearing them out and as I am leaving someone is arriving and looks at the water and says "It's too muddy and too high" I say yep and get in the truck and leave. My favorite in this situation is a 1/2 oz Cordell Spot followed by a spinnerbait.

Are lipless still effective in the heat? I know they get a lot of praise in the prespawn.
