I took advantage of the break in the heat and got a little fishing in.
I launched my Hobie at daybreak and was off the water at 11. I managed to catch a number of small channel cats, one jack and a good size largemouth.
Water temps were low 80s, light winds and overcast/drizzle were the conditions.
Crankbaits and in-line spinners did the damage and most of my fish were caught in 10+ ft of water. The hot lure was a chartreuse Bandit Rackit crank.
My camera had some water on it and yes my arms are extended but the bass measured out at +/- 21 inches. I didn’t get an exact measurement.
