Caught 2 decent ones mid day. Both up shallow near small hidden laydowns. One in that pocket around the old rock dam and one all the way back east fork in that 4 way channel meet up. Both on spinner bait slow rolling bumping around cover. Also recovered floating in the water near the east fork bridge one of the biggest gizzard shad I have ever seen. No wonder HPCL produces hawgs!
When that place is off, it feels like it's dead but when it's on, it's on. Still to this day single best 90 minutes of bass fishing I ever had were on that lake.
Fished there on bank during lunch couple times recently. Got this guy under some grass near laydown. Other than that one not much luck
