This Years Morrow Mountain M&G will be March 26&27th. Grey Ghost and I already have reservations sites 93&95 Loop C. After having this event canceled last year due to Covid I’m looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it especially after the long Winter.

I might be interested, went first time last year to the New River trip. Could you please tell me what is on the agenda for the weekend. Thanks Jack Z
The last time we were able to meet there we just setup camp and hung around on Friday. Saturday we fished Lake Tillery. The mouth of Uwharrire flows into the lake right across from the boat ramp. Everyone caught fish and Donnie caught some big great eating Crappie. We had a rather small group 2 years ago but we had a great time. Of course some may want to fish on Friday. The majority of us used Kayaks.
I will be fishing somewhere on a bank. Sold off the Hobies last year might get a ride on a boat if the chance comes up.

Well that’s 4 of us and 1 maybe. Good times to be had for our first get together.

I’m sure the closer we get to the date a few more may try to make it. I know that I get stir crazy after a long winter with very little fishing or RedX time.
The hot hole use to help with Red X Time in between meets. Fishing was not great but the fellowship was great. You could always count on pulling in the parking lot way before sunrise and John would be waiting on you.

Donnie might come in for a visit on Saturday with everyone no guarantees though. Haven’t seen him since new river meet so looking forward to seeing him.
