Well, you know some folks think the only time that you can catch a speck is October and November

I checked on the Mann's website and could not find them there. I may have just missed them.

Appears they have tweaked the name to SHADow minnow. Marketing...
They have also done away with the color I used, but I would definitely use the Baby Bass, Albino Shad and the Nite Glow. With the Nite Glow and Albino Shad I would take a permanent magic marker/sharpie and color the back black. I have had to do that now for several years. The Bubble Gum might be nice as a substitute for a Hot Pink Mirrolure

I'll add that I had good success with a white X-rap (8?) in jan / feb last year before the stun. My best day was on a cold morning where I broke ice on the way out. I fished that bait by reeling steady and crawling it along

    Liberally doused with procure

Is that a saltwater or freshwater X-rap?

Jan/Feb time frame I'd be using an XRap 6 but that's just me. I like to downsize in real cold water. Studies have shown that it takes a lot of energy for specks to digest a larger baitfish in the extreme cold, therefor they are more apt to eat a smaller bait. This is why I like the 3ds minnow in 70sp so much as well as the XRap 6.
