    Default One less fisherman today

There is one less fisherman in the world now. Today I said goodbye to my father in law. After many years of health problems his body just couldn't take any more. He grew up an Indiana farm boy and fishing was his passion. He fought proudly for our country in World War II and lived for 92 wonderful years. I learned a great deal from him about fishing and life in general and consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to know him. The fish feel a little safer now but I will miss him terribly. God Bless you Gene.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and kind words. The subscibers to this site are truly some of the best people in the world. The service is this Sunday and as he wished Sunday night I'll begin dividing his tackle up between my two sons. Thanks again and God bless all of you.

Heaven's getting a great gift, and you will have a lifetime of great memories. He's where the fishing is great all of the time. Hopefully one day we can all say the same. I'm sorry for your great loss. May you find peace & comfort in your hearts through all the wonderful memories you shared through the years.

    God bless,
