Jordan Lake is my stomping ground, up around the Haw River. I prefer salt water when I can get down that way.

Whatacatch -- Cape Fear Kayaks has kayaks available to rent for next Saturday's KFNC Meet'n'Greet if you're up for a trip to the coast. 888-794-4867 I'd consider it a promotion from "wannabe" to "part-timer"....

Fort fisher will be a great time to see a lot of different makes of yaks if you ever make the step of getting one.

    Do out of staters count?

    Guit_fishN (Jeremy)
    Zip: 30021
    Malibu X-Factor (mango)
    Perception America (yellow)
    Chattahoochie River
    Lake Lanier
    Stone Mtn. Lake

You are right about kayak fishing growing. Look at any fishing mag now and you'll see full page ads from Ocean Kayak, Hobie, and Native Watercraft (technically a canoe).

Sure they count - somebody has to chase the fish that feared us too much to stay in NC.

No guarantee that your thumbtack will stay in the default zoom view, but I got you squeezed in there on the edge of very, very southwestern NC...

Agreed. But a pretty sweet floating lawn chair nonetheless... Just be careful where you drill that scupper hole!

We've got no bias against canoeists either - they are very welcome on the map. Should probably change the name to "Paddler's Map" or something more generic.

    Welcome aboard!
