Hey guys, I finally made the plunge and decided to go with the Ultimate 12 to get started. Have been to Harris and Jordan twice with a lot of good paddling but no luck fishing. Went Saturday morning and thought Jordan was too choppy so I drove around to Robeson Creek launch site. It was pretty muddy but I set out upstream toward the rocks and tried everything in the tailwaters and shore structure with no luck. Paddled and drifted down to where the creek and Haw converge and fished the point. Caught two nice smallmouth with a lizard drifting down with just a swivel and no other weight. Both hit as I retrieved over the hidden limbs and rocks. Boy, that was fun for my first catch in a kayak. I'm hooked.
    lefty like this.

I don't recall having the option to put kayak angler when I sighned up. I do remember the zip code option. Is it because I am new so it reads"new agler". Do I get my stripes after a certain time period?

Click on "User CP" on the blue bar menu near the top of the page. On the left hand side of that page click on "group memberships". then on the line for kayak angler select "join this group" and then submit. You new title should appear shortly.

Ooh, Native Magic... that one was highly anticipated, occasionally test-driven... don't recall hearing of someone that has one. I look forward to fishing with you sometime and checkin' her out!

Kaleb, just curious why you were selling the redfish. I'm thinking of getting a redfish 10 soon. Is there something you don't like about it?

I'm going with a ten footer for storage reasons, I need to keep it inside the house becuase of homeowner's association.

NO there is no reason i love it. My best friend is gonna come and stay with me for 3 months on a long vacation and he doesnt have the money to buy a new kayak so im gonna sell him mine and turn around and by a manta ray.

I would recommend the redfish to anyone that is thinking of getting one its a good stable fishing kayak. It has done real good for me.
