    Pros: Light, strong
Excellent value for the price. Generally accepted here as the price/performance breakpoint for paddles - you can buy more paddle, but it won't make as much difference from the Skagit upward as it does from lower cost paddles to the Skagit.

Significantly lighter than my $90 Voyager Rec II. Swing weight makes a much bigger difference in muscle fatigue/soreness than I ever would have expected. I highly recommend this for people who do a lot of paddling, especially flatwater/distance. Well worth the extra cost over a $100 aluminum-shaft paddle.

Current models have a nice adjustable ferrule for feathering (which I don't use at all - keep it at 0-0 all the time).
