Default Fish Finder Portable Model 94511

    Price Paid: $36.99
    Recommended: Yes
Cons: Fish Size feature. Paper work says it indicates fish size. There is only 2 fish symbols used, small and large on the display. In the Harbor Freight website there are 3 reviews on this product. Two are positive and one indicates a problem that their display read 24’ in 99 feet of water. They took the fish finder back and got a replacement and had the same problem again. Said the finder worked OK in 0-24’ only. 90 day warranty.
Pros: I purchased this portable fish finder at Harbor Freight Tool at Raleigh, Capital blvd store in 2008. I’m a bank fisherman so I use it at Bells Church Pier at Jordan, along the banks, under bridges and at the rip raps. Also use it when I rent boats at Bond and Wheeler lakes. The fish finder has worked fine for me. In the May 2012 issue of North Carolina Sportsman magazine, page 67 is a save 30% coupon for this fish finder. The price reduced is $34.99 with a coupon expiration date of 8/19/12. The online price at Harbor Freight is $44.99 with flat rate shipping of $6.99. I like the Entry price point, Portable, 35’ Transducer cable, No battery leakage problems to-date, and No problems reading display in bright sun light.
I've had no problems with this product since 2008.
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it. Irish Blessing
