Product Manufacturer: Poor Boy Lure Craft
I always wanted to make my own plastics and Lurecraft made the project easy. Their selection of plastics, colors, scents, and other additives allows you to create your very own custom baits. I used their more environmentally friendly formula 552 which offers a medium strength, very soft plastic that floats. I added a combination of the oxblood and violet grape liquid coloring to get the custom purple I was looking for. A small amount of this coloring goes a very long way. To this I added coffee scent to infuse the baits and finally added some teal glitter to create my baits. I made my own mold (having a little experience and with the help of You Tube) to make some worms, lizards, and creature baits. The actual pouring process takes a little practice. The good news is that if you mess up you simply re-melt the plastic and reuse it creating zero waste.
