Default Citation Specks and Hordes of redfish 12/07/13 pic heavy

Here is some recent pics and a report. Yesterday we had over 30 reds and trout, the day before over 40. Some days we have spent the whole day sightcasting to 1000's of reds in the shallows, that always gets my blood pumping. The reds have been running from 16-31" just depending on the school and location. The trout bite has been pretty good most days also, and we have been catching some studs here and there. All fish are coming on mr 17's, Storm shrimp, and TTF soft plastics with Procure. Most fish have been coming from a 1'-3'. I got to play surgeon one day, that was a lot of fun. lol Any questions, fire away.

Here are some pics from yesterday. We did good on the reds and trout again, and caught about a dozen small flounder. It was a really foggy start, could not see more than 100 feet most of the day. We caught some more gill net reds also.

The pic of the gill net red needs to be made as public as possible.

Both, just depends on the day and where I am at. Pretty much fish somewhere different everyday.

Can you imagine how bad and BIG of a problem it would be if there is double the netters next year? I know for my area (AB to emerald isle and every creek in between) it has gotten noticeably worse this year. I have no idea the regs on this but somebody out there needs to step in and take some action. I know if you go south of NC the inshore netting is outlawed and in some or most of them states, the inshore fishing is world class.

The netters were hot up here the last month or so as well.
