I certainly would if I had the time to go. You can't catch them from the house

Well I once caught a fish in the brim of my hat in a driving rainstorm...

But if you want to tell a story people might believe you better go to the fish...

I wouldn't. It's Valentine's Day and the wife would lock me out of the house. It's too cold outside for that!

You guys are hilarious, I meant, will the water be so cold it really isn't worth the effort? Please bear with me, I'm still learning

As a new angler I try not to let conditions keep me off the water unless it's dangerous. Worst case scenario you learn something. If you don't catch fish you can say with certainty that your presentation where you were fishing it doesn't work and then not do that again. Usually one skinny sickly unimpressive looking fish will bite and keep me from getting skunked. I try not to get my hopes up on days that I know will be tough conditions. Not to say I go out expecting to get skunked but it's a better day if I treat it as practice, trying to get better casts, or a certain presentation probably throwing some stuff I don't usually tie on.

Warm rain today by comparison, sunny and Mid 50s tomorrow, I wouldn't get up early but I'd be fishing midday/afternoon for sure. The water will warm around structure and dark bottom and they will be there. They will be hungry..
