    Default where river meets lake

Been looking for the elusive Walleye (pike if youre a local) in Fontana and the Little Tennessee River. Ive caught every species of bass possible without being able to land one-eye yet this year. Here are a few photos of my recent adventures. Im eating on a paleo diet starting April 1st. So its white bass/spotted for dinner the next few nights!!! Happy hunting!

I caught most of the fish on a pearl white grub/jig. A few of the spotted bass fell for a finesse Rapala crankbait fished quickly over rocks. I saw a fella in a boat pull two eyes out using a hard bait fished in current over rocks. And I missed a hookup ten feet off the bank from a nice one. Guess it keeps ya going back.

Yep, I actually tried that jig and crawler twice that day in a deep hole and kept getting hung-up so I switch back. I caught a few fish that way last year, looks so good in the water… Decided to post a few more shot from Apr 1st after I had gotten home. You can really see the size of that whitebass, I think it's close to my PB especially in the mnt's. Nuts, fruit, veggies and whitebass. I can handle this for now, hunting ramps soon to cook with trout starting in a few days!!

Walleyes are so finicky this time of year. Matter of fact; for me the only time they are not is trolling time in May and June.
Take a kid fishing. My Grandpa did and I have never forgotten when the "light" went on.

With scenery like that, I could give a rip if I caught fish! But great job and thanks for the post. Awesome

Most eyes will be caught right before dark, but I always wait til they get back out in the lake. Let em spawn.
