    Default Not Your Average Bass

My buddy ran into this fish while hunting white bass. Caught with a sz4 clouser on a 7wt fly rod. Who says you can't catch big fish with flies? The fish was over 10lbs.

I think it would be a blast on any rod.

Beautiful fish! I caught a 10 lb carp on a fly rod but I suspect this was substantially more dynamic.

I think the last 10lber you saw was my buddy Alex's Bass. Also caught on a fly.

I know the fish doesn't look that big but Alex is 6'3-6'4. This one was caught with a 5wt in a pond so I'd say it's not as impressive as the fish above. Still a nice bass.

Fantastic and what a pig. I took a light action rod out and a crappie jig yesterday and had a great time landing some big bream and crappies
