    Default Musky # 2

Caught a nice musky today on the FB river. This was my second and largest musky this year. It took a 7in. old school hardbait called a "Believer", white with red head. It was a really cool catch, I was about to pull the bait out of the water when the fish came alongside of my canoe and swiped at the bait. Instead of the figure-8, I decided to throw another short cast and it took the bait about ten feet from the boat. Jumped clean out of the water, had to beach the boat to land the fish.

Great fish story. Not familiar with that bait you mentioned.

Note to yakers...............notice that a guy that catches monster river fish instinctively chose the proper craft for the job.

Whitewater...that is an Awesome fish ya got there, and I was guessing 36-42"......I have NOT seen any that big in person but it sure looked MUCH BIGGER than my one and only lifetime PR/PB muskie of 26" that I caught in Middle Island Creek up in WV!! I was still in high school so it was a pretty big deal way back then...THANKS!!!
