Had a rod guide bend on one of my nicer rods and when I attempted to straighten it, it just folded right over and came off. Is there a shop in the Greenville area that can install a new guide? It's only one. The third or fourth from the tip. As always, help is much appreciated.
I took a bunch of broken rods that I had accumulated to the Roanoke Sportsman in Williamston. There is a guy that will pick them up from there and repair them. I was very happy with his work.
Anyone in your area that might be in the custom rod businees would probably do it for you. You might also look into doing it yourself, its not really that difficult once you watch a few youtube videos.
I can help as well - I am not a business so it would only be material cost - minimum. i live in raleigh but have a place in belhaven and pass through greenville, washington all the time.
Are there any individuals that do custom rods and repairs in Greenville? I always take my rods to Greenville Marine, but the last time I went, it took forever and it cost a lot. Mainly looking for someone in town.
I am still doing repairs and custom rods. 252-670-4688
