    Default Rockin on tha roanoke

    John and i caught 40 nice rock fish today with all but 4 being 19 to 23 inches . The size this year are much bigger than last year . Fish caught on gulp jerk shad and z-man jerk baits on 3/8 oz jig heads . Did i mention these boys really pull good on med. Rods !!!!

    Nice. I'm sure there are even bigger fish around from I saw around Dare county. Not big numbers of them but they are there. A lot of fun on a trout rod for sure.

    Great report as always Curtis. Was just thinking of heading up that way. Haven't fished the fall/lower Roanoke season yet. Looks like a ton of fun. I'm thinking my kids would love it!
