Hey all! I was born and raised on the Coast of NC near Beaufort. I've always loved the water but I've never really had much of chance to do a lot of fishing. I just bought a fishing kayak and I'm ready to get out and do some exploring of the good fishing areas in the Morehead City/Harkers...

Does anyone have an opinion as to the better places to launch and fish from a kayak in this area, any advice as to times, tides, etc.? I'm usually looking to catch trout drum and flounder and fish mainly with live bait and gulp shrimp or minnows. Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone know when the blue fin tuna start to show up off of Cape Lookout around the morehead city/beaufort area?? I know its got to get alot cooler but when?? Water temp? Water depths? Also Ive heard of trolling for them but what do you pull? Any other ways of catching them? Thanks guys
