Is anyone thinking of going out this weekend? If the weather is nice I am considering either Lake Tomalex, High rock or Badin. I figure head out mid day fish and paddle maybe 3 or 4 hours. Have a good day on the water maybe even catch a fish!

If you read my other thread related to this topic you know I came up empty. Not so much as a bite. With all that water and fishing blind how do you locate fish?

I've wondered if those new little handheld fish finders would be good for Yak'rs. I know some of you guys use the battery powered fixed units.

Thinking about getting maybe the watch unit.. Just knowing depth and being able to locate bottom structure and drop offs would be a big plus...
