First time out in the boat since July and I had a pretty good trip. I got on the water about 10:30 and nothing was happening for the first hour. Finally found an area with a good concentration of bait and almost immediately got a nice fish almost 4lbs. From that point for the next 60-90 minutes it was fantastic. I caught 6 more with another over 3 and a 4-5. They were all shallow biting spinnerbait and vibrating jigs. I was thinking it was going to be an epic day but someone must have flipped the switch and it just died. I mean completely died. I didn't even get a nibble the rest of the day. Still well worth the trip for that brief period of magic.

Water was about 55 degrees which is, for me, in the prime range.

PS - If you go there you must pay cash to launch. They don't have a card reader. I ended up having to drive into town to find an ATM. Pretty annoying that a government run facility can't take a credit/debit card.

Nice, Andrew! Way to be there at the right time. Moving baits, go figure. ;)
Hope you are well and have a great holiday season!
