Got out on MIL for a few hours on Sunday afternoon with my family. I had two kids in my boat and my wife towed a kid in a smaller kayak behind her. We launched from Neck Rd, turned right and went up to the sandbar. My wife hung out with the two younger ones while they played on the sandbar, my eldest and I drifted over the deep water adjacent the sandbar for catfish a few times but had no luck. Headed back to toward Neck Rd and started getting some action. Caught 1 14in striper on a yellow beetle spin, 1 12in LMB on a yellow beetle spin, another 12incher on a white crankbait, and several white perch on Mitzuo Nanos. All the bass came near the two buoys directly south of the McDowell creek mouth, the perch were just east of the mouth towards the Neck Rd launch. I threw quite a few spinners but didn't even get a hit.

Fun day on the water but a little chilly, need to get some cold weather clothes.
