The no see'ums were thick and swarming yesterday afternoon / evening. Covered head to toe, hat, glasses, long sleeve t shirt, gloves, sweats. With repeated re applications of 40% DEET. My buddy was wearing a sleeveless t shirt n shorts. He's reporting 50 bites. Crazy.
But in between swating clouds of bugs we managed a few fish. Reds on topwater in the marsh, a baby shark and baby king near the surf on finger mullet. We ended the day with topwater specs inside. Along with the specs, the blues and lizards slashed at out topwaters. All in all we had a blast.
