My boss man is an avid fly fisherman. When he's fishing, it's fly fishing. Lately he's been walking around the office w/ a 3ft piece of balsa w/ a string attached to it that he "practices" his casts with. During lunch today he decided to hit the stormwater pond for some pumpkin seed action w/ a fly rod he keeps in the office for that purpose. So after he walked out I decided I didnt want to be left out of the action so I took his "practice rod", tied some 50lb floro that was laying around to the string, and grabbed the one fly in his box that I was able to get the floro through the eye and met him at the pond. I got 4 pumpkin seeds on that setup, 2 being decent and 2 being tiny. Not a bad way to spend lunch break.
