2-11-15 Had an afternoon to fish before this next cold snap so jumped at the chance.Ran into Jettroller, but didn't recognize his smaller, but real nice boat, don't know if he did any good. Just can't seem to be able to fish the good weather days....cloudy, drizzle and a little wind, all my days on the water have been bluebird, bright and breezy. Hit the Tuck side for the first time in a while. Found fish along the shady side of the channel and had some pretty good fish. Moved on up towards Wilderness and found really good fish in the creeks. They were just like they have been when bright, plastered to the bottom. Put a couple of shots, sorry for the downscan shot, but you can see there ain't much to look at, but these were real good fish. Never found more than a few together but they were everywhere like this. A couple of these are hybrids between spots and smallies and are they ever mean. Had three or four pushing 18-19 inches the rest standard 12-14, but those are my favorites to eat. Gonna be a rough weekend so probably won't get out til next week, stay warm if you go. Later Capt. James

I fished HARD found a few right where you said but then they disappeared just like ghost... I think they were laying on the bottom and I didn't recognize them... started to drop shot but I get real board real quick with that kind of fishing.. lol
I didn't catch a fish all day...
Was good to see you and chat. That little boat gets awesome fuel mileage but....... it's a cold ride unlike the thunder jet..

tight lines,
