My last Friday to get out fishing all day, before I go back to working them for 3 straight weeks. Morning was slow, afternoon was strong. Fished a cycle, catching 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 lb bass. Awesome day and on top of that, the lake was mine. Virtually no one there. I love hot summertime fishing.

Good deal! Awesome day. I wish I could crack the summertime code. Was on a local lake last Saturday from 6:30 to dark-30 and water temp never dipped below 91.

It was kind of like Opposite Day. I couldn't buy a bite in the morning or on top water. All of the dinks I caught for the most part were biting the jig and craw. Every big fish ate a plastic worm, fished super slow. Then when they hit it they would lightly inhale the worm and all of them sat there, no swimming off at all. That is until I set the hook! Also, while battling a 5 lber I saw multiple other big bass following the fish I hooked excitedly. It was cool to see a pack of big fish hunting.
