A chilly , windy day but we kept after them and caught a nice limit of trout and 1 22 inch rock . You never know who you'll see on tha water , looked up and the sampson county boys were there , andy hodge and rabbit . Was good to get a chance to talk to them as this was their first trip on tha river . Purplescent twitchin rap did some serious work today . We will be back after'em again tomorrow !!!!

Good seeing you Curtis and meeting Bobby and John. You guys make a good team for sure. We did a lot of riding and looking in the creek you were fishing and the one down river from it as well. The boat ride in the river between the creeks was a test on the Nauticstar with those 3-4' swells caused by that hard west wind. The other creek was badly affected by the heavy rain Saturday night and the fish had been pushed way back out. We did manage 2 trout and 3 stripers but we learned a lot about the area. Beautiful down there as is all of N.C. waters. We hope to go back and try'em again another time.

But once again, you boys put it on them. Hey, when you are good, you're good!
