Fished all weekend looking for Drum and had no luck. Didnt see much bait around either. Water temps seem to be lagging a bit this spring. Did manage 8 flounder on sat with 3 keepers @ 16", 17" & 17". Then on sun we managed 5 flounder with 2 keepers @ 16" & 17". Covered a ton of water and the fish were really scattered. Fish were caught on gulp shrimp and z man paddlerz. The hunt for drum is on!!! Thanks for the report. I'll be camping at South Creek from June 9th-15th and fishing the lower Pam/Bay and Neuse. I sure hope conditions improve quickly.

This week should bring the water temps up to normal numbers for this time of year.

Reel Prime, thanks for the report! The fish were definitely scattered. I'll get my report posted shortly, but was still recovering from the weekend yesterday - Anyone who says that fishing is a lazy man's sport doesn't fish like I do. I felt like a truck ran over me when I woke up yesterday morning!
