Late last night on a very high tide I spotted some bait being chased near the Freeman Creek boat ramp. Tossed a yellow yo-zuri shrimp suspended from a popping cork in front of the bait, popped the cork once, and the cork was gone. Reeled in a 16.5" flounder. Also tossed a tandem bucktail and gulp combo for an hour with no luck. I have to thank Dr. Bogus for the tips. One day with him is worth the 119 he charges. I learned a lot about presentation and getting the rigs tied just right. I also managed to catch bait in my cast net for the first time ever. Even some shrimp! I must have thrown than **** net 200 times without a single living thing to claim until last night.
