I saw a video from a dude that swears by adding hair to hard bait hooks. He is all about red drum fishing and contends the hair let's the scent he uses adhere better and longer. I just got a couple of Johnson silver minnow and thought I'd try it but wanted to check here first. Anyone?
Thanks

some spoons have hair. Makes sense to me that it would add/change the action and give scent something to hang on to.

Yea I was wondering about the action. The one I want to try is 1/8 oz so there is really not enough hook shank to tie hair on so I bagged the idea. I don't want to add a trailer hook-maybe on a 1/2oz it could be ok. I decided to experiment and add a spinner about 1" ahead of the spoon. Mainly because my outdoor plans got rained out. The 1/8oz were recommended for super skinny water so I bought 4. The hooks are so small. I hope they hold up to a fish. Not that I know what catching a fish feels like lately :)
Thanks
