Jan. 12, 13, 14th there were plenty of albacore just outside and inside the hook. They were eating something tiny, I could not fool them with a Clauser. I did see Pro Guide Charles Brown. Rob Passfield at the HIFC gave me some smaller flies to try that are basiclly just some crystal flash. With latest weather they may be gone. Capt. Noah Lynk told me there were some nice specks caught that weekend at the Harkers Island bridge.

Wow! Crazy weatherman done gottem lost. Sounds like they were after rain minnows. modify the size and profile on Fojoloy's 'around to it' to match the hatch. Or you cold tie you some metallic braid bodied flies. Either way flash is where it's at.
