Going Saturday to Townsend first, maybe fish for 4 hours or so, then over to Brandt. Going to fish Brandt for a few hours.

I have been looking forward to fishing some of these lakes for a while :).

Hey just wondering if we can get an update on these lakes...I know there's been quite a bit of pressure the last few years. Any thoughts? Anyone fish Jeanette? I know it's private and sounds like you can only fish It if you live on the lake or are a member of the LJ tennis and swim club. Is that correct? Any other lakes in the area with a good population of bass? thanks everyone

Oak Hollow has hybrids but I do better on them in the spring than in the fall or winter. Lots of topography on on Oak Hollow but little in the way of cover away from the banks. I have good days out there but I fish deep consistently rarely less that 12 feet. Tons of shad in Oak Hollow but small. Air lines are a good bet in warm months. Warden at salem lake in Winston-Salem said they stocked a lot of hybrids last year. Again a spring bite at least for me. Air lines in that lake too but also basically devoid of cover in deeper water. Chicken livers work either place for hybrids but I've caught some nice ones on rattlin' jigging spoons too.
