I have a minn kota winch on my anchor. It quit spooling out so I put 2 new switches in it; 1 in the motor and 1 in the controller. There are 3 wires leading out of the switch; 1 red, 1 black, and 1 white. In the motor there are a red and black and a ground spade on the motor. Hooking red to red, black to black, and the white on the ground it still won't spool out. Any suggestions?

to start simple are you sure its getting power to it? Is power passing through the circuit breaker? Is it grounded well?

I agree check power and fuse or circuit breaker. If the power is getting to the motor and it doesn't work, I would Ohm out the motor, it should read low (between 1 to 20 ohms, but could be little high). To be sure call minn kota.
