Went out again this evening with little brother (I am beginning to think he is good luck or my all-time photographer ) to get him on some more fish and to see if I could repeat the success I had yesterday. Well second cast with a c-rigged junebug trick worm gave me another hawg! Two days in a row! This time she weighed in at 5lb 6oz and was 22.5''. Little brother put a whoppin' on me catching 10 fish to my 1 and caught 3 little bullheads which made his day. It is always a great time with my little brother catching fish and making memories and I can't wait to do it again!

Meenyt- I release all bass. Only keep white perch or sometimes bluegill at a lake for fish fry.

Both for me. See what works. Speed of retrieval as well as the action you give the lure varies.....this was before the fly rod came into my life, now I'm forever changed.

Agreed with wademaster...I use both techniques. Just let the fish tell you what they want, when you find a piece of cover let it sit a long time and shake it around the stump, rock, tree, etc. and then pop it over.

Nothing wrong with keeping fish to eat. But with all the big ones you been catching Abert, I was worried that none of us would ever catch another one over 5 lb! Good job man, keep up the big catches.
