i have been looking around on the net for pushpoles, and have found a pretty decent one that is under $100 for a 10' pole. i have contacted the company and he is willing to do a group discount if more people are interested. the push poles can be seen on the website Hold My Pole Bracket Shallow Water Anchor System and Salt Water Angling Tactics there are kayak poles that he makes, and they should be skinny enough to fit through the scuppers to use for staking out. if there is any interest, let me know so i can try to work out the specifics on the group deal.

thanks

Often I use my 'stake out' pole as a push pole when stalking tailing reds on the flats. Less noise the better. If I had any balance at all and could stand in my kayak, I would probably be more interested. But an interesting product and reasonably priced.
