Anyone yakking topsail today?

Fun Day! Now my one tip. Start using Zman Paddletails and Pro Cure rather than feeding expensive gulp to stupid pinfish. Make sure you take a little tube of super glue to glue the bait to the jighead. You will use 1 bait all day if you keep your leader from getting chewed up by the oyster beds.

The first one maybe because I wasn't expecting it but the second the fish just flat out missed.

The pinfish weren't too bad today. The first half of the day I fished unscented paddle tails out of curiosity but had no luck at all. I have tried pro cure but it really doesn't seem to come close to competing with gulp. I am hoping to use procure more so i can try lures with better action. Gulp is just a big smelly turd on a hook but the fish love it.

I just have no confidence in something like a gulp shrimp that has absolutely no action at all. I'm just a big Zman fan. I like the diezel minnowz. It has a slit on the bottom I fill with pro cure. I like all colors as long as it's pearl.

I almost bought some today. I have caught probably a hundred fish on gulp. That's the problem. I am trying to build confidence in something else.

I'll be paddling Topsail per usual this weekend. Saw/caught plenty of reds in 3 different locations yesterday after work, with some upper slots eating. My friend from Greensboro was supposed to come visit and catch some w/me, but he's gotta work Sat If around Sat, lemme know..

Unfortunately I have to work :/
