We have certainly are off to a good start. We expereinced 100% growth over our last meeting and several people mentioned that they have freinds that are interested in joining. Thanks to everyone who came out to share our interest. I had a great time getting to know each of you.
There was a wide array of fishing interests represented from bank fishing to Fly Fishiing to chasing Marlin at the Steeples.
Wellcraft Dave- Brought by some Offshore Tackle to give us a little insight on how to put those Salty Critters in the boat. Dave thanks for sharing your expereinces and knowledge.
Keith Gallaher- wanted to let everyone know that we are getting close to the Fly Tie a thon which will be held on April 28th at Tarheel Fish & Game. Keith has added a Silent Auction to the fund raiser, this year. Here's a list of items to be offered:

Please, remember that the money raised is for the March of Dimes and any flies that are tied will either be sold or Donated to the Casting for Recovery organization. Casting for Recovery is an organization that introduces women who have or who have survived Breast Cancer to Fly Fishing. Both are excellent causes to support and we appreciate any support than you can give to the causes. If you are interested in Tying it would be a great time to come by and see how to get started.
Also Keith talked about renewing the Fayetteville Chapter of the NC CCA. Count me In - Keith.
CoachD was telling us of the big Crappie being caught at Rhoades Pond and how much potential the pond has. I believe that several of the group will be following close behind the next time he heads up to the pond.
Thanks to Adam Long, Bob Schmirzke. and Jim Thomas for coming out as well. We had a great meal and met a great new bunch of friends. I'm looking forward to seeing how much our tribe grows at the next meeting.
Thanks Again.
See you at the Fly Tie A Thon
