I was just wondering if anyone has caught any Shad this season?, I fish mostly the Neuse River in the Kinston , New Bern area. Any reports would be appreciated, Thanks,

I heard on Facebook of exactly 1 caught in core creek

Its still early and not many of people fishing for them yet. I am going looking for them tomorrow and expect they are around but am focusing closer to the sounds.

PS.. anyone wanna float a river searching for them? Down for Jamesville, Hookerton, or such..

Thanks Guy's, my sentiments exactly, it's probably a little too early in the season, I was hoping with the full moon this month the Shad would start moving into the rivers and streams, just wishful thinking!
