DENR says they stock the whole Yadkin chain (maybe not the narrows), but i have never been myself. If you go blind, just be in the current, upper part of the lake this time of year....

zooker fishes there often, I fish there quite a bit but I always fish the spilloffs for bass as I don't have a boat. My favorite place to fish honestly, wish it was closer (45 min). Hopefully he'll chime in, I spoke with a local that was fishing the dam at narrows/tuckertown and he said that he caught catfish/striper down there.
