I finally gave my life to the Lord a couple of years ago and I can't believe it took this long! Since being saved, everything is much clearer. I was lifting weights for many years and gave it up. Picked up fishing again and just enjoying God's beauty is unbelievable. Gives fishing a whole new perspective. We have been fishing Belews Lake all summer and it is a gorgeous lake, very clear water and HOT! It has been running mid 90's to 100 in water temp. We look forward to trying to head out to High Rock before this years out. Thank you all and God Bless, Mike

Glad to meet another fellow believer. Praise the Lord! As beautiful as God's creation is here on this existing earth can you imagine what it will be when it gets His makeover? Welcome aboard ! By the way, where is Pfafftown?

Thank you all for the welcome. Yes, I can't wait to see what Heaven looks like. My parents just got back from Alaska and they can't imagine Heaven after seeing it! LOLMike,

Pfafftown, is connected to Winston-Salem, NC. Where I live, we will probably get annexed the next time. It is North of Winston-Salem. I am about 5 miles from King, NC and about 10 miles from Clemmons, NC. Actually a wonderful area, other than being annexed in a couple of areas. I would have about a 45 minute drive to High Rock Lake and it is about 35 minutes to Belews Lake. The Yadkin River is about 3 miles from my house.

I agree - I went there in 2002 on a mission trip. Most beautiful place I've ever seen including 44 states and 14 countries!Thank you all for the welcome. Yes, I can't wait to see what Heaven looks like. My parents just got back from Alaska and they can't imagine Heaven after seeing it! LOL
