I'm planning a hike and fish trip into the Smokies for the end of March-beginning of April. I've found what appears to be a pretty good deal on Sleeping bag and tent. The bag is a Marmot Trestles 30 Long Sleeping Bag (http://marmot.com/products/details/trestles-30) And the tent is a Eureka! APEX 2XT TENT(http://store.eurekatent.com/apex-2xt. Both are brand new and the price is less than half of what they're on the website.
So does anyone have any input on either one of these (are they light enough, small enough to pack, sleeping bag warm enough, Big enough I'm 6'2" 270, etc.) Any and all input is highly appreciated.
