Hey everyone,
My family will be heading to OIB in early April this year. We've never been at this time of year, we are usually down in July-September. We like to fish for flounder and usually have pretty good luck with jig heads & gulp or live pogies on caro. rigs. My question is, has anyone got any advice for fishing this early in the year for flounder. Is it good or bad and what baits should we be prepared to use. Also I know reds are usually around in the early months, will they still be around in early April and what would they be biting on (gulp crab maybe)? Thanks for any advice. Steve
